Born in Bogotá, David Triana channels the warmth and rhythm of his roots into deep, percussive club cuts that move with soul and intention. Co-founder of Downpitch Recordings with Tomás Station, he helped shape Bogotá’s underground through vinyl releases and forward-thinking events connecting local talent with global sounds. Now based in London, Triana co-runs Soursopp, a night known for its vibrant energy at Fabric, Lion & Lamb, and Little Portland Street. With releases on Descendant of The Deep and Moody Records, and appearances on NTS and Red Light Radio, his sound drifts effortlessly between house, jazz, and organic electronics, timeless, groove-driven, and crafted for late-night dancers.

As resident and programmer at Rūmu, he’s been instrumental in shaping one of the city’s most respected dance floors. He also runs Picture Perfect Recordings, a label reflecting his precise, late-night aesthetic. With over two decades behind the decks, he’s played across Europe, always focused on groove and patience.
