impropper is the sonic identity of Slovak-born, Lisbon-based DJ and curator Peter Propper, weaving deep, dubby, minimal-leaning house with striking attention to low end groove and sound-design. Co-founder of MBR in Brazil and central to Lisbon’s Stories and RŪMU, his sound was first shaped in the warehouses of São Paulo, carrying that raw energy into carefully curated club nights.

His sets lean left-field and emotional, built from rare digs and unexpected turns rather than the obvious. With releases on Get Physical, Moodfamily, Folder and Diynamic, he moves between dancefloor tension and live-musicality - deep and eclectic.
